This role partners closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and project stakeholders to help maintain schedules, control costs, manage documentation, and uphold quality and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.What you’ll doAssist with preconstruction activities, bidding, subcontracting, and procurementCoordinate project documentation including RFIs, submittals, schedules, cost logs, and meeting notesSupport field and office teams by communicating schedule updates, material needs, and design clarificationsTrack project progress, milestones, and cost projections; support job cost reviewsReview drawings and specifications to identify issues requiring clarificationHelp manage change orders, pay applications, and budget updatesParticipate in quality reviews, site walks, and safety coordination effortsSupport project closeout by assembling warranties, punch lists, and turnover documentationWhat we’re looking forBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred)3–6 years of experience supporting commercial construction projects with a general contractorWorking knowledge of construction means and methods, schedules, contracts, and documentation processesStrong communication, organization, and coordination skillsA team‑oriented mindset with a focus on safety, quality, and client serviceThe O-A-K AdvantageWe offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including but not limited to salary, 401(k) profit sharing, paid time off, health insurance.
