Our team is committed to producing exceptional products while providing employees with a safe, clean, and collaborative work environment.\nIf you enjoy working with machinery, solving problems, and keeping production running efficiently, we'd love to hear from you.\nSummary:\nPerforms complete work center change-over including mold change, verification of molding machine settings, set-up of all auxiliary equipment, secondary operations, and automation.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily.\nAbide by all policies, procedures & work instructions including but not limited to the Employee Handbook.\nExecute policies, procedures & work instructions as documented within Polyfab’s software system as appropriate to the position (RD106-033, QMS Training Matrix).\nComplete all appropriate paperwork in an accurate, timely and efficient manner.\nStrong emphasis on maintaining 5S. Maintain clean and safe work area.\nRecord time spent on specific change-overs and enter into MRP system.\nShutdown and purging of molding machines per production requirements.\nStart-up of new production jobs and submittal of parts to Quality Assurance.\nTroubleshoot production process problems as identified by Quality Assurance and document interim changes for Molding Technician review.\nConduct material or tooling revision samples as directed by Process Engineering or the Molding Technician, and document results on Sample Summary documentation.\nReport any machine maintenance issues to the maintenance department in a timely manner.\nParticipate in implementation of Lean Manufacturing principals as assigned by supervisor.\nComplete projects from a project task list as assigned by supervisor.\nDevelop teamwork skills both inside and outside the department.\nAll other duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\nEducation and/or Experience:\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent required and\nOne to five years of related experience; or\nEquivalent combination of education and experience.\nKnowledge of the manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery. This is normally acquired through two to five years of manufacturing experience. Injection molding experience preferred.\nBasic knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Applications.\nPhysical Ability\nManual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.\nMust be able to sit, stand, or walk for 8 hours per shift.\nRegularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms\nRequired to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and to talk or hear\nOccasionally required to sit, taste or smell.
