Eelctrical Engineer - Obsolescence Management
Job Requirements
Roles & Responsibilities:
Clear understanding of Schematics, PCB Libraries and multilayer PCB design tools.
Strong knowledge of Semiconductor Component selection, Circuit design, simulation.
Ability to understand legacy designs without detailed design documents.
Experience in prototyping, debugging and testing of power electronics designs
Independently troubleshoot component failures, root cause analysis and propose suitable solutions.
Responsible for Component selection, testing and qualification.
Ability to read datasheets, interpret data and conclude best suited part as substitutes.
Ability to read wiring diagrams, read / write test procedures.
Team player to collaborate with PCB designers, Mechanical Designers and component and PCB vendors.
Follow client specific documentation standards for all rework and new documents.
Experience working with oil and Gas industry companies.
Work Experience
Desired Skills:
Strong fundamentals in electronics systems and working knowledge of standard lab equipment (scopes, DMM, impedance analyzers, power supplies, etc.) is much preferred.
Working knowledge in the following domains like analog, digital and mixed signal designs.
Working knowledge of Mentor Graphics PADS Logic and Layout is a plus.
Strong knowledge of Semiconductors.
Software skills:
Electrical design :- MCAD, ECAD.
