Data Engineer (Ingestion & Batch Processing | AWS & Spark)

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join the Data Ingest team, supporting a core platform responsible for ingesting and reconciling high-volume merchant transaction logs. This role plays a direct impact on cashback operations, merchant revenue, and overall company profitability.You will work on large-scale batch data pipelines, ensuring reliable ingestion of transactional data into internal systems and supporting reconciliation processes between merchant and consumer records.⚠️ This role is not focused on analytics or machine learning — it is a pure data ingestion and processing position.Our cliente, Upside is a leading digital marketplace that connects consumers and merchants through personalized cashback offers.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain data pipelines for ingesting merchant transaction logsLoad and process large volumes of transactional data into internal systemsSupport data reconciliation between merchant and consumer transaction recordsWork with batch data processing systems in production environmentsCollaborate with internal teams focused on data ingestion and reconciliation initiativesRequired QualificationsProven experience as a Data EngineerStrong experience building and maintaining data ingestion / ETL pipelinesHands-on experience with AWS, especially: Amazon S3 AWS GlueExperience with Apache Spark (batch processing)Experience working with large-scale transactional dataSolid background in batch-oriented data processingAdvanced / fluent English — all communication, interviews, and project activities are conducted in English
