The academy is proudly affiliated with the Barney Charter School Initiative at Hillsdale College.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Speech Language Pathologist at Golden View Classical Academy in Golden, CO. The professional in this role will assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders. Responsibilities include creating individualized therapy plans, providing direct interventions, collaborating with educators and parents, and documenting progress to support the development of students' communication skills in alignment with the school's educational goals.QualificationsProficiency in Speech Therapy techniques and a strong knowledge of speech and communication disordersExperience in diagnosing and treating language disorders and providing support for dysphagia managementExcellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, families, and educational staffAbility to work compassionately with students in an educational environmentMaster’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and DisordersValid state licensure or certification in Speech-Language Pathology is requiredExperience with school-aged children or in an educational setting is preferredKnowledge of or interest in classical education and its principles is a plus
