Machines operated may include drills, saws, press-brakes, punches, shears, hi-definition and CNC plasma, etc. As a cross-functional team member of this division he or she may also assemble components and perform other duties as assigned. As a Machine Operator, you are integral in supporting RedGuard’s goal of delivering customers a quality product on time.\nResponsibilities\nManages and operates production equipment while monitoring the performance of the machine and carrying out operations in proper sequence.\nAssembles fixtures, mount parts in fixtures/components, and perform mechanical assembly using hand and air tools (wrenches, torque wrenches, impact wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, etc.).\nMaintains inventory, and routing of parts and maintain production records.\nFollows established safety and security rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work area and environment\nMinimum Qualifications\n6-12 months of previous machine operations experience with Shears, Press-Brakes, CNC Plasma, Bandsaws, etc.\nMust be able to read and interpret blueprints and product specifications.\nBasic math skills with ability to read tape measure, squares, and other tools specific for job task.\nAbility to read blueprints.\nBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office.\nWork Environment\nThe physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
