This team of specialized engineers has extensive experience in designing and constructing various temporary works.\n\nClick here to find out what drew Isabel to the Construction Engineering group.\n\nApply now and transform your career with us.\nWhat you will be doing:\nProvides constructability and technical design input on temporary works construction designs to ensure compliance with contract specifications and regulatory requirements.\nDesigns and drafts construction methods for temporary works (falsework, shoring, temporary bridges, formwork, slopes, etc.), ensuring completeness and accuracy with regulatory standards and within the contract specifications.\nReviews personal and peer design elements to optimize project constructability, cost effectiveness and material quantities.\nConducts forensic analysis for post-construction items to support claims mitigation and dispute resolutions.\nSubmits design for peer review or approval review in an accurate and timely manner to avoid construction delays on the project site. Seals personal and team designs following approval review.\nWhat we are looking for:\nBachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural or related Engineering field required.\nProfessional Engineering License (PE/PENG) required.\nProven knowledge of AutoCAD, RISA suite, LARSA and MathCAD required.\nProven knowledge of temporary works construction practices and constructability innovation techniques.\nProven success with creative, innovative and optimization strategies for construction challenges.\nStrong verbal, written and presentation skills. Proven interpersonal skills used to defend, clarify and explain construction strategies and designs\nClear, concise and efficient technical writing skills used in calculation packages.\nAble to self-prioritize and track individual work with limited oversight.\nAble and driven to mentor developing engineering team.
