Teacher Assistant

Location: Alternative Education & Bridges Program QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma/GED Must possess or be eligible for New York State Certification as a Level I Teaching Assistant Experience working with at-risk youth within a classroom (preferred) OR, Experience working with students within a special education classroom (preferred) DUTIES: Provide additional assistance to classroom teacher and students within a classroom SALARY: Based on Education and Experience START DATE: As soon as possible BENEFITS: Include paid time off, participation in the New York State Retirement System, health and dental benefits, life insurance, Employee Assistance Program and Flexible Spending Account.
