In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security.\nWhy Join Us?\nInnovative Projects: Work at the forefront of engineering, mission IT, and cybersecurity solutions.\nCollaborative Environment: Join a dynamic team that thrives on collaboration and innovation.\nImpactful Work: Your contributions will guide technical baselines and shape future technology innovations.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDrive and maintain the technical baseline for the Laptop portfolio.\nMaintain deep technical understanding of Windows and Linux products, including adjacent product lines.\nGuide current and future developments with focus on vulnerabilities, feasibility, and innovation.\nCollaborate with Technical Leads, Project Management, and development teams to create cohesive communication strategies.\nTranslate complex technical concepts into clear messaging for diverse stakeholders.\nReview and comment on product plans and technical reviews.\nServe as technical representative at boards, reviews, and with external stakeholders.\nGenerate artifacts and documentation to capture technical baselines.\nAssist with research and testing efforts prior to formal testing activities.\nInterface with development teams to understand and quantify technical challenges.\nIdentify product issues and vulnerabilities before realization in product.\nGuide concepts in the innovation pipeline through productization phase.\nGain hands-on experience with portfolio products for troubleshooting and support.\nStay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nWork Environment:\nLocation: On-site\nTravel Requirements: Minimal\nWorking Hours: Standard\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nSecurity Clearance: TS/SCI++\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Business IT, or related technical field; 10+ years of experience (additional 4 years may substitute for degree)\nExperience with desktop OSs (Windows, Linux, macOS) in customer environments\nStrong organizational skills; ability to prioritize workload\nAbility to work in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment\nDemonstrated experience coordinating and completing action items\nStrong oral and written communication skills, including briefings and technical documentation\nAbility to convey complex issues clearly to senior leadership\nSelf-starter with ability to manage multiple projects independently\nUnderstanding of project control gate processes\nExperience with Agile development models/processes\nHands-on development experience on Windows, macOS, and/or Linux platforms\nStrong understanding of low-level code across platforms\nAbility to explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders using text, graphics, or diagrams\nExtensive experience with MS Office suite, including Visio, Visual Basic, and WSL\nDesired:\nMaster’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Business IT, or related technical field\nStrong stakeholder relationship management skills\nIntelligence Community experience\nFamiliarity with operating system architecture and commercial messaging products\nReady to Make a Difference?\nIf you’re excited about making a significant impact in the field of national security and working on projects that matter, we encourage you to apply and join our team at KBR.
