Management includes planning & coordinating product implementations in accordance with best practice methodology, within the mutually defined timelines and within the project budget. This will include maintaining issue lists and managing to resolution implementation issues. There is a high degree of collaboration and negotiation required among internal departments to achieve a successful live for productive use of the software.All activities must be in compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity laws, HIPAA, ERISA and other regulations, as appropriate.Essential FunctionsIn addition to working in accordance with appropriate conduct and behavioral standards, specific responsibilities of this role include:Creating and maintaining project charters for technical implementation projectsNegotiating mutually acceptable project objectives, requirements, timelines, and success criteriaCreating project schedules and managing technical project milestonesLeading project kickoff calls to establish scope, expectations, deliverables, and communication plansCoordinating internal teams, third-party vendors, and client stakeholders to ensure successful project executionManaging complex technical projects including database mergers, migrations, EMR integrations, practice management system conversions, and large-scale data splits and exportsCollaborating with Development, Product, Support, and Operations teams to deliver specialized technical solutionsReviewing technical project requirements and providing consultation during the pre-sales process to ensure project scope, timelines, and solution requirements are clearly definedIdentifying project risks, technical dependencies, implementation challenges and driving mitigation strategiesIdentifying and managing implementation issue lists and escalations through resolutionExecuting projects according to approved project plans and technical requirementsMonitoring project progress and adjusting as necessary to ensure successful project completion and client satisfactionEstablishing communication schedules and conducting regular client and vendor touchpoints to provide updates, address concerns, and maintain project alignmentSetting up and maintaining project documentation to ensure all project information is appropriately documented and securedServing as the primary technical implementation contact for Customer Experience (CX) on complex client engagementsReviewing project deliverables with stakeholders to ensure quality standards and project objectives are metMinimum RequirementsBachelor’s degree in related field3-5 years of Project Management and related experienceAssertive with a demonstrated ability to cultivate strong relationships & influence behaviorExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsExcellent time management skillsProven ability to solve problems creativelyPreferred Qualifications5 years of experience in the Healthcare IT industry, specifically software implementationKnowledge of or applicable experience in one of Nextech’s main medical specialtiesWorking Environment/Physical Demands Remote role within the United StatesMay require occasional after-hours and weekend work to support project milestones, system migrations, Go-Live activities, and client business needsLong-distance or air travel as needed but not to exceed 10%Activities require a significant amount of work in front of a computer monitorTotal Rewards: Generous annual bonus opportunity401(k) with Employer MatchFlexible Time Off: take time off when you need it without worrying about available hours11 paid holidaysYour Day Your Way - Celebrate a day of cultural or social significance to youInsurance: Choice of Medical, Dental, and Vision plansHealth Savings Account with employer matchFlexible Spending Account100% Company-Paid Parental leave (After 6 months with the company)100% Company-Paid Life Insurance and Short/Long Term Disability InsuranceNextech Luminary Peer Recognition ProgramWellness Program including discounts on medical premiumsEmployee Assistance Program with free counseling sessions availableCorporate Discounts on Retail, Travel, and EntertainmentWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information.
