We are looking for a seasoned Program Manager with experience managing the buildouts of Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) in a variety of venue types including military and campus-type venues. The Program Manager will lead the cross-functional, lifecycle launch and change management of network buildouts, products, channel and partner requirements. The atmosphere we are trying to achieve at Boingo is one of nimbleness and quick response to changing market conditions. At the same time, we need to follow best practices in project management, and quality assurance. The successful candidate will reside in the Dallas Metro Area and have experience in project management within the telecommunications industry. Experience in both large company and small company environments are desirable.ResponsibilitiesWork cross-functionally with field engineering, development, and professional services through network buildout / project lifecycleUnderstand business and technical requirements to define project scope, deliverables and delivery commitmentsAssume responsibility for driving and delivering multiple projects and releases for cross-functional teamDemonstrated ability to understand technical aspects of DAS deployment, project management and lifecycle operationsMaintain strong communication with clients, administrative staff, contractors, general contractors (GCs), and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs).Experience working on the technical aspects of wireless network technology, deployment, construction standards, product, and project.Successfully manage and prioritize multiple projects using project planning techniques and software through all phases of the project lifecycleProactively track deliverables and act when they are missing or lateDrive project activities against plans, and develop and manage project status documentation and communicationsManage cost and schedule and make sound fiduciary decisions regarding project expendituresAs part of project status tracking and reporting, continuously assess project risk factors and recommend appropriate courses of action to mitigateLead and manage recurring partner requirements, service levels, reporting, change management quality assurance and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) including formal weekly / monthly / quarterly reporting requirements and meetingsMentor other staff and collaborate as a member of technical sales support as needed.Requirements8+ years working experience Managing DAS and ERRCS projectsProficient in business tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.Proven track record in delivering large scale projects on scheduleExperience managing capital for multi-million-dollar project costs and expendituresStrong project management skills, methodologies and analytical skillsAbility to drive all aspects of a product through the entire life cycleSound business judgment and ability to make data-driven decisionsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsStrong ability to lead and motivate team membersAbility to create and deliver effective presentationsExperience in the telecommunications industryBS Degree preferredMust be self-motivated with a proactive approach to working with diverse teams.Travel to local and out-of-state sites will be required.Boingo Wireless simplifies complex wireless challenges to connect people, businesses, and things.
