The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.ResponsibilitiesProvide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery or critical procedures. Monitor vital signs and ensure patient safety during the recovery process. Administer medications as prescribed and perform necessary interventions. Collaborate with surgical teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Document patient progress and coordinate with healthcare team members effectively. Participate in educational lab and pass exams relevant to role competencies.QualificationsMust have 2 years of PACU experience. ICU experience is required. Current ACLS and BLS certifications. Willingness to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance. Ability to perform in SIMs Lab for Foley catheter and central line dressing procedures.
