They support their families and build long term careers they are proud of!\r\nAuburn Gear is proud to offer to our employees:\r\nCompetitive hourly wage\r\nPaid holidays and vacation days\r\nExcellent medical benefit package available on the 1st day of the month following your date of hire\r\n401k plan with a generous company matchPosition Summary:This position will provide support to all material handling, inventory, and shipping and receiving needs.\r\nSupervisory Responsibility: NoEssential Functions and Responsibilities:Maintains a thorough knowledge of the organization and adheres to all organizational standards.\r\nMoving material throughout the plant\r\nConduct inventory research and analysis\r\nInterface with all departments and levels of management\r\nDriving company owned vehicles to pick up and deliver productive and/or maintenance material, while following procedures for documenting expenditures and delivering materials to the proper departments\r\nOperating overhead crane and unloading steel trucksQualifications:Education and/or Experience:\r\nPrevious stand-up forklift, hand truck or stacker experience, required.\r\nPrevious material handling and shipping & receiving experience, preferred.\r\nAbility to complete forklift training and certification.Page BreakComputer Skills:\r\nTo perform this job successfully the following computer proficiencies are desired: Internet Explorer; Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.Physical Demands:\r\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
