You’ll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with the highest quality, while seamlessly coordinating between engineering, product, and operations teams.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDefine and manage software development and debugging program scope, key deliverables, and milestones for complex robotic systems from concept to end-of-life\nDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders\nProactively identify risks and issues, creating and executing mitigation and resolution plans\nFacilitate communication across cross-functional teams to keep everyone aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle\nUtilize tools like Smartsheet, JIRA, and Confluence to organize tasks, track progress, and communicate effectively\nProvide clear and concise status updates to leadership, highlighting timelines, milestones, budget status, and any areas of concern\nPartner with Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to ensure program success\nPrioritize critical tasks and escalate issues as necessary\nMaintain program metrics and ensure rigorous tracking of project milestones\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field\n5+ years of experience in technical program management\nExceptional communication and organizational skills\nProven ability to manage and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority\nExperience with Agile methodologies and project management tools like JIRA/Confluence\nStrong problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork skills\nPrior experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is a plus\nOnsite work at our Pasadena, CA HQ is required\nDesired Multipliers\nExperience in vision systems, machine learning, or similar technologies\nKeen understanding of software development lifecycle, especially relative to robotics, and the complex challenges therein\nAbility to make quick decisions and adapt in dynamic environments\nStrong attention to detail and analytical skills\nCompensation\nSalary: $140,000 - $160,000 + equity + benefits.\nThe stated compensation range reflects only the targeted base salary range for candidates residing in the Los Angeles Metro area and excludes additional earnings such as bonus and benefits.
