ARS employees are motivated through our industry competitive benefits package, our awards and recognition program, and personalized attention from ARS Senior Managers.\r\nResponsibilities include\r\nManage and support all phases of the DoD acquisition lifecycle , including system development, production, fielding, and sustainment of weapon systems and associated technologies.\r\nAnalyze program performance using qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate cost, schedule, risk, and overall program health.\r\nIdentify program risks, recommend practical solutions, and develop alternative courses of action to keep acquisition efforts aligned with program objectives.\r\nPrepare and deliver clear, professional acquisition documentation, including executive briefings, reports, schedules, program plans, and decision support materials for government leadership.\r\nDevelop and maintain required acquisition reports and documentation, including DAES, MAR, IMP, IMS , and other statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.\r\nSupport Program Management Reviews (PMRs), milestone reviews, Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) reviews, executive leadership meetings, and other acquisition events.\r\nCoordinate with cross-functional government and contractor teams to track program execution and communicate program status to senior leadership.\r\nApply knowledge of DoD 5000 Series acquisition guidance , acquisition best practices, and program management principles to achieve cost, schedule, and performance objectives.\r\nOther duties may include\r\nCoordinating as Action Officer for key presentations such as PMR, CIO, CCC, POM requests, current year spend plans and other high level task management.\r\nCross coordination of schedules, risk management and key team management tools.\r\nLead and coordinate all preparatory work for key team meetings.\r\nOther duties as assigned.\r\nQualifications/Technical Experience Requirements:\r\n10+ years of experience as a Program Manager within a DoD environment.\r\nActive Top Secret Security Clearance. (Position may require a SCI)\r\nBachelor's and or Master's Degree; PMP Certificate preferred.\r\nMust be a US citizen.\r\nThe annual salary range: $164k - $190k. Salary is dependent upon the role and associated responsibilities, candidate's experience, and qualifications to include education/training, and key skills.\r\nAll positions at Applied Research Solutions are subject to background investigations.
