Report any problems to supervisor.\nFollow safety protocols while operating machinery.\nEnsure a safe working environment by adhering to all company and industry safety standards.\nEnsure that finished rolls are properly handled and packaged for distribution, ensuring they are free from defects and meet size specifications.\nLoad and unload raw materials such as plastic film rolls onto the rewinding machines. Ensure material is stored properly to prevent damage.\nParticipate in training sessions and team meetings to improve operational efficiency, safety practices, and product quality.\n\nESSENTIALS JOB DUTIES:\nSafely and efficiently operate rewinding machines to ensure that finished rolls of blown plastic film meet production specifications.\nConduct inspections throughout the production process to ensure the final product is free from defects and consistent with customer requirements.\nQuickly identify issues with the rewinding process or machinery and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.\nFollow all workplace safety guidelines, including wearing appropriate protective equipment and using safe work practices.\nMaintain accurate records of production, including any downtime, adjustments, and material usage to assist with tracking performance and identifying potential issues.\nProperly package and label finished rolls for shipment or storage, ensuring they are handled in accordance with company standards.\n\nSKILLS & ABILITIES:\nAbility to operate and adjust rewinding machines and related equipment.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nBasic mechanical troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify and resolve equipment issues.\nKnowledge of blown plastic film characteristics and common defects.\nAbility to read and understand production schedules, specifications, and safety guidelines.\n\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nAdditional technical certifications or training in manufacturing or machine operating.\n1-2 years’ experience machine operating in a manufacturing environment.\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nAbility to lift up to 50lbs.\nExposure to dust, dirt and noise.\nAbility to stand for extended periods of time, as well as bend, crouch and reach.\nAbility to perform repetitive tasks.\n\nSalary Range: $21.00 hourly\n\nThis range reflects the base salary that Polyvinyl Films Inc. reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role, based on current market data.
