Job Title - AWS Customer Success OfficerLocation: Quincy MA (Hybrid) Job Description We are seeking an experienced AWS professional to join our Customer Experience team, working closely and collaboratively with application development teams and platform engineering teams to design, deploy, and operate scalable AWS applications using IaC, CI/CD, and container technologies. The role requires excellent communication skills and a strong focus on automation, reliability, and deliver consistent, high‑quality customer experience.What you will be responsible forAs an AWS Customer Success Officer, you will:Collaborate closely with application development teams to understand application needs, deployment patterns, and operational requirementsSupport customers and development teams in deploying and operating applications on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and container technologies.Provide guidance on AWS best practices for scalability, reliability, security, and operational excellence.Proactively identify risks, issues, and improvement opportunities impacting customer experience and application operationsCoordinate with platform, security, and operations teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvementCommunicate clearly and effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.Provide regular status updates, success reviews, and recommendations to customers and internal partners.Advocate for customer needs while balancing platform standards and governance.What we value6+ years overall experience in IT infrastructure and cloud engineering4+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services at scale2+ years of experience in cloud architecture and infrastructure design2+ years of experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code2+ years of experience with Harness or similar CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI)Strong expertise in AWS core services:Compute: EC2, ECS, EKS, LambdaStorage: S3, EFS, EBSNetworking: VPC, Subnets, Route Tables, NAT Gateways, Transit Gateway, Load BalancersSecurity: IAM, Security Groups, KMS, Secrets ManagerDeep understanding of container technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, ECS)Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, application deployment, and DevOps practices.Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and stakeholder management skillsExperience building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and deployment strategiesExperience with monitoring and observability solutions (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)Strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, able to mentor and guide team members and collaborate with application teamsExperience with AWS cost optimization strategies and FinOps practicesNice-to-Have SkillsAWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional or Associate) or AWS DevOps Engineer certificationExperience with additional AWS services (RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, Redshift)Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices and Chaos EngineeringPrior experience in financial services or highly regulated industriesExperience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architecturesProficiency with Terraform, HarnessSolid experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban)
