ACIBuilds.com\n\nSummary/Objective:\n\nThe Electrical Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day activities of crews on assigned electrical projects. Provides guidance and direction to crews in meeting the budgets and schedule dates on each project. Ensures job quality and customer satisfaction is maintained in every stage of the project. Interacts with clients, customers and vendors to build lasting relationships. Cultivates a positive environment to maintain a sufficient and qualified work force.\n\nEssential Functions:\n\nPlans and supervises field crew and / or subcontractor and craft activities - includes determining method of construction, manpower levels, material quantities equipment, temporary power, mechanical and plumbing sources, work schedule and documenting actual hours worked\nCoordinates assigned work with work of different crafts, company departments, or other contractors\nServes as a liaison with engineering, estimating, project team, and planning to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule\nMaintains relationships with other departments (i.e., Material Control, Purchasing, Quality Control, Engineering) to ensure all required materials, equipment, inspections, etc., support craft activities and project schedule\nAssists in resolving construction problems (lack of productivity, work interfaces, etc.)\nMonitors craft compliance with project safety program requirements; document and ensure corrective measures are implemented\nStrong equipment setting capabilities\nPerforms other duties as assigned\n\nSupervisory Responsibility: Yes\n\nRequired:\n\n7+ years' experience as a General Foreman with 4 years of completed electrical apprenticeship program.\nDemonstrated planning and scheduling experience\nPrevious knowledge of man hour reports, job cost reports, workface planning and estimating\nAdvanced understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, and ability to control and supervise large groups\nDemonstrated knowledge of, readinginterpreting and working to:\nDesign drawings (isometric and orthographic), design guides, specifications\nSupport Drawings and specifications\nContract documents and site coordination of subcontractor\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, plus demonstrated ability to work across varied disciplines\nAbility to read and comprehend complex instructions\nAbility to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization\nAbility to plan, look ahead, and set goals for your entire job\nOSHA 30 certification\nCPR certification\nMust be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail, and demonstrate problem-solving skills\nMust adhere to all company policy and procedures\n\nThe work environment and physical demands required would be representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, and may include, but are not limited to the following:\n\nWork Environment:\n\nMay work in varying temperatures;
