Member Associate II
Member Associate IIThis position is responsible for creating exceptional member experience while processing transactions, as well as offering and demonstrating all-digital, remote and self-service options.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist members with their financial needs and transactions. Identify, develop, and refer business relationships to build market position
Educate and introduce current and new members to new products and services and assist in self-service options
Foster and maintain constructive member relationships
Review and maintain knowledge of products
Understand and recommend products and services based on the member's needs
Participate in sales and community events to contribute to branch and credit union goals
Use effective sales techniques that result in a positive member experience and meet or exceed sales goals
Maintain knowledge and adhere to operational, regulatory, security, and compliance standards
Accepts and processes all financial transactions accurately
Maintains responsibility and follows proper balancing procedures
Promote and effectively demonstrate digital, remote and self-serve options, with continual education as new products and digital services are introduced
Proactively generate new memberships through branch sales activities
Qualifications and Education Requirements
High school diploma or GED required
6 month Financial Institution experience
6 Months Cash handling, customer service and/or retail sales experience
Supervisory Status
These positions do not supervise others.
Working Conditions
This position will be required to work in an office environment with moderate noise levels, and, with or without reasonable accommodation is required:
Must be able to work Saturdays and extended business hours
Ability to work in-person at Branches throughout Kitsap, Mason, and Pierce County
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a minimum of 75% of the time
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machines
The person in this position frequently communicates with peers, supervisors, vendors and employees to exchange accurate information and answer questions
Works in an indoor office environment but expected to attend meetings in buildings that require travel in outdoor weather conditions
