This critical role demands a deep understanding of network engineering principles, combined with hands-on experience in design, implementation, and troubleshooting of complex network environments. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability across our clients' networks through their expertise in network protocols, security measures, and performance tuning.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, implement, and maintain advanced network architectures leveraging Broadcom NetOps solutions.\nTroubleshoot network issues and ensure prompt resolution to minimize downtime and optimize performance.\nCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate network systems with other IT infrastructure components.\nConduct thorough testing and validation of network systems to ensure adherence to security and performance standards.\nRequired Qualifications:\nAble to pass customer required background check and onboarding process\n8+ years of experience in network or system engineering, preferably within a U.S. federal agency.\nDemonstrated proficiency with Broadcom NetOps technical environment.\nBachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience (10+ years) in lieu of degree.\nCCNA or equivalent certification.\nTechnical Expertise:\nStrong proficiency in Linux/Unix environments.\nHands-on experience with Apache Tomcat, Microsoft IIS, Jetty, or Wildfly..\nProficiency in MySQL, and familiarity with Vertica or PostgreSQL databases.\nDeep knowledge of SNMP, HTTPS, REST, and packet captures.\nExperience in scripting languages for automation purposes.\nDesired Skills:\nProven track record in network operations, including monitoring and proactive issue resolution.\nAbility to utilize network monitoring tools effectively to identify and mitigate potential issues.\nWork Environment:\nThis position may require occasional travel (10%).\nBasic Qualifications:\nU.S. Citizenship Required\nRed River offers a competitive salary, excellent benefits and an exceptional work environment.
