Working closely with engineering and operations teams, you will support new product introductions, improve factory test processes, and contribute to the retirement of legacy products. You will play an active role in driving operational excellence through safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity initiatives, while gaining hands-on experience solving real-world manufacturing challenges.\n\nThis opportunity is open to current students only. Co-Ops can work between 24-40 hours per week depending on their individual availability.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nDesign, implement, and support manufacturing test systems for new and existing products.\nImprove production quality, efficiency, and reliability through data analysis and problem solving.\nSupport new product introductions and ongoing manufacturing operations.\nTroubleshoot hardware, software, and electrical communication systems used in test stations.\nPerform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues.\nValidate test stations using hardware and software to ensure accurate and reliable performance.\nPartner with engineering teams to optimize product manufacturability and testability.\nIdentify opportunities to reduce costs, improve yields, and streamline factory processes.\n\nQualifications:\n\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited institution\nGood understanding of analog and digital based circuitry, and ability to read schematics\nAbility to work onsite with our team in Everett, WA\n\nFortive Corporation Overview\n\nFortive's essential technology makes the world safer and more productive.
