This role requires physical stamina, sound judgment under pressure, teamwork, and the ability to follow established protocols and safety standards.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nRespond to fire alarms, medical emergencies, rescues, and hazardous material incidents\nPerform fire suppression, ventilation, search and rescue, and overhaul operations\nProvide Basic Life Support (BLS) and emergency medical care as an EMT\nOperate fire apparatus, tools, pumps, ladders, and rescue equipment\nConduct inspections of hydrants, buildings, and fire equipment\nParticipate in regular drills, training exercises, and continuing education\nMaintain accurate incident and medical reports\nPerform station maintenance and equipment upkeep\nEducate the public on fire safety and prevention\nWork collaboratively within a team under stressful conditions\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED\nValid driver’s license\nEMT-B certification (current)\nFirefighter I & II certification\nAbility to pass physical agility test and medical evaluation\nAbility to lift 75+ lbs and work in extreme environments\nPreferred Qualifications\nEMT-P (Paramedic) certification\nHazMat Operations certification\n2+ years firefighting experience\nExperience operating fire apparatus\nICS/NIMS training\nKey Skills & Competencies\nEmergency response\nTeamwork and communication\nPhysical endurance\nDecision-making under pressure\nMechanical aptitude\nPublic interaction\nWork Environment\nThis position exists solely within a controlled training and testing environment. No production systems or live customer data will be accessed.
