ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ASSISTANT (PART-TIME)
Description:
King Retail Solutions, a leading designer and manufacturer of retail design, decor, and cabinetry/casework/millwork is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Assistant.
Position Summary:
Perform complex clerical accounting functions following general, but standardized procedures and practices. Analyze accounts, records, ledgers, reports, and similar accounting documents for accuracy. Investigate variances and questionable entries. Preparation of financial information. This position specializes in accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
This position works onsite at our corporate office in Eugene, Oregon, and will work a typical schedule of 9:30am-1:30pm, approximately 20 hours per week.
Accounts Receivable Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Interpreting and implementing client requirements for invoicing
Sales invoicing daily, including electronic submittal to customers
Credit card processing on customer accounts
Occasional physical bank deposit or petty cash run
Collection communication to customers regarding past due accounts
Complete monthly reporting to NACM
General Accounting Responsibilities
Create budget variance reports, general ledger expense reports, and other reports to distribute to managers
Reconcile some general ledger accounts and assist in monthly GL closings
Responsible for reviewing and updating written procedures related to duties
Scanning, filing, and other recordkeeping
Requirements:
Skills & Abilities:
General accounting knowledge, including account reconciliation
Exceptional time management to meet deadlines
Experience with MS Excel and database systems
Experience with Enterprise Resource System or other accounting software packages
Word Processing and Data Entry Skills
Effective written and oral communication skills

Understands individual responsibility and displays personal accountability in working towards the goals and objectives of the organization, using open and respectful lines of communication.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two or more years work experience in a similar role.
