Associate Attorney - White Collar/Govt Investigations - REMOTE
Requirements/Preferences:Minimum 3 years’ experience as an attorney (law firm private or government). 4-6 years’ experience preferred.Someone who doesn't mind the grind work working with, alongside and helping wherever needed such as document assembly, review, writing etcPrior experience as in-house counsel and/or in a federal prosecution role (AUSA or Trial Attorney) is a plus, not mandatory.Experience with areas of white-collar defense, national security law (sanctions, export control, CFIUS), FCPA, SEC enforcement, government investigations or other related areas is a plus.Solid and proven writing and research skills and writing with regard to complex matters, especially in the context of government enforcement defense.We would also value experience with both civil litigation and criminal/regulatory casesSome specific experience with writing for a court on behalf of client involved in litigation. Experience as a former US District Court clerk would be good and not mandatory.Ability to work independently and remotely but also collaboratively with the other lawyers and analysts at our firm.Experience with document review on platforms such as Relativity.Someone who has the desire and capacity to grow with the firm over the years and develop a client relation, case management and business development mentality from the beginning.Minneapolis, Texas candidates would be great as the firm has offices there (in NY & DC too) but not mandatory.Miscellaneous Factors:Bar admission required (within the US).Expectation of reasonable annual hours.Annual base salary is expected in the US $160-225k range depending on year, credentials, experience etc.Position is primarily remote with some expectation of travel for firm events, business development and client matters.
