The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment while ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently, and according to production schedules and customer requirements.\n\nThe ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work independently while following established procedures and quality standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nSafely operate production machinery while following all required safety procedures and operating guidelines.\nMonitor equipment during production and ensure machines are operating properly.\nProduce products according to established production schedules and customer specifications.\nMaintain a strong focus on food safety and product quality throughout the production process.\nImmediately identify and report any safety, quality, or equipment concerns to the appropriate supervisor.\nFollow company policies, procedures, safety requirements, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).\nRead and follow operating, maintenance, safety, and procedural instructions.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area.\nWork effectively with fellow team members to meet department and production goals.\nPerform all required duties with minimal supervision.\nComplete additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred; or 1–3 months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nPrevious machine operation or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.\nAbility to communicate effectively with fellow team members in English.\nAbility to read and understand safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and other work-related documents.\nBasic computer skills.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\nAbility to follow instructions and established procedures.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.\nStrong commitment to workplace safety and food safety standards.\nReliable and dependable with a positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.\nWork Environment\n\nThis is a hands-on production position in a food manufacturing environment.
