Utilizes manual and power\nmaterial handling equipment.\n\nSorts and places products or POS materials on racks or shelves according to predetermined designated locations.\nAccurately assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets, wraps pallets with stretch film and\nprepares for shipping.\n\nMarks/labels in coming products with identifying information. (Date Code, Product Description and Code, Case Count)\nMarks/labels outgoing product with identifying information. (Route #/BIN Location, Pallet Count)\nVerifies amounts of product/POS materials received.\nUses technology (RF scanning and voice picking equipment) during local checkout process according to Company Operation\nGuidelines.\n\nOperates material handling equipment to transport stored items within the warehouse.\nPrepares and organizes warehouse for daily cycle count inventory and shopping activities.\nComplete daily maintenance power equipment checklist. Report defective equipment.\nPractices and adheres to appropriate safety, food safety and hygiene guidelines/procedures for safe housekeeping and\npersonal protection.\n\nKeeps work area clean and removes trash from work area floor.\nStores supplies in designated areas.\nKeeps work area aisles/exits clear and free from obstructions.\nFollows instructions for safe lifting/carrying of various sizes, shapes, and weights; identifies/reports defective equipment.\nReports all job-related injuries/property damage to supervision.\nSupports and participates in Continuous Improvement initiatives including 5S (sort, set, shine, standardize, and sustain).\nMay perform other duties as required.\n\nEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE\nHigh School Diploma or GED and/or one year of experience.\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach\nwith hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance.\nThe employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific\nvision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability\nto adjust focus.\n\nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee\nis occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or\ncaustic chemicals; and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.\nIndividual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.
