MM promotes sustainable development through innovative, recyclable packaging and paper products.\nOur heart beats for talents - be one of them!\nTo strengthen our Team in Puerto Rico, we are looking for an Production Supervisor, 3 rd shift\nYour role\nResponsible for the Inserts Operations by providing leadership and guidance to team members in order to meet production requirements. Accountable of area quality compliance and safety guidelines. This position must comply with all Security guidelines, Environmental Health and Safety regulations, regulatory/compliance requirements, and the current Good Manufacturing Practices required by the job function.\nResponsible in the development of goals and objectives for the area, responsible to lead, support and supervise Personnel to ensure execution per site goals.\nExecutes production schedule per planning department\nWork in collaboration with team leaders, coordinators and managers, to assure that the plant achieves its objectives for quality, delivery, safety, innovation, profitability and total customer satisfaction.\nDelivers high quality product implementation and customer support service. Develops customer relationships and sales support activities Evaluate and coordinate Continuous Improvement initiatives, OEE monitoring to increase tasks efficiency and MM Packaging Cost Savings activities to achieve corporate goals and profitability.\nEnsures personnel complies with the established curriculum to execute the job assigned.\nProvides effective coaching and motivation of team members including sharing goal setting, key performance indicators and feedback so that each team understands and can successfully achieve expected goals and objectives.\nEnsures that area equipment is well maintained, including but not limited to calibrations and preventive maintenances, in order to achieve optimal operational performance while maintaining regulatory and compliance requirements.\nProvides appropriate leadership to ensure that MM Packaging reaches its goals of zero accidents in the workplace.\nMaintains relationship with associates by hiring, training, evaluating the personnel as well as responds to formal grievances and consults to HR to report and resolve personnel issues.\nCost controls by means of monitoring waste, rejection, reruns, overhead, purchasing trends, and expenses.\nControls flow of materials and utilization of labor to ensure adequate production and quality consistent with plant objectives.\nDirects and approves all requisitions for manufacturing supplies.\nInvestigates customers complaints with quality personnel, identify violation of customers/company requirements, as applicable.\nConducts and attends planning meetings to report the status of existing/new orders, and to review the operational, personnel and other requirements.\nAssists General Manager in any request such as meeting with customers’ suppliers, audits, visits to customers’ plants, etc.\nYour Profile\nAssociate degree preferred\n5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment with multiple product lines. printing/folding industry experience preferred.\nMust have in-depth technical knowledge of the Inserts operations, in order to make sound technical decisions which could have a significant impact on product quality, cost and overall efficiencies, including equipment and technologies.\nStrong leadership skills while maintaining effective communication and interactions with superiors and colleagues.\nAssertiveness and uncompromising attitude with regard to the safety & quality standards applied in the day-to day activities\nOur offer\nWe offer you a job in a stable, international company with long-term growth plans.
