Administrative Assistant for Project ManagerLocation: Houston, TX 77063 (Gessner/Westheimer)Pay: $50,000 - $65,000**CONTRACT-TO-HIRE position****Must have Project and Administrative experience**[The client] is a fully integrated real estate investment trust that acquires, owns, manages, develops, and redevelops high-quality, internet-resistant neighborhood, community, and lifestyle retail centers.Are you a detail-driven, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We're looking for a Full-Time Administrative Assistant who takes ownership of their work, brings a high level of accuracy and accountability, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves when it counts. In this role, you'll serve as a critical partner to a Project Manager who wears many hats — helping keep operations organized, priorities on track, and nothing falling through the cracks.This is more than a traditional admin role. You'll collaborate across internal teams and engage directly with clients, where your ability to anticipate needs, stay ahead of the curve, and maintain composure under pressure will set you apart.Responsibilities:Provide high-level administrative support to a Project Manager across multiple concurrent responsibilities and initiatives;Assist in creating and updating reports, presentations, and documentation as required;Compile and maintain informational binders, records, and project filesCoordinate and book travel arrangements; prepare itineraries, agendas, and supporting materials while monitoring logistics and managing costsPrepare, edit, and proofread correspondence, communications, and presentationsReconcile monthly expense reports through Concur, including receipt management and obtaining required approvalsManage competing priorities and drive projects to completion under deadline pressureSupport ad hoc tasks and special assignments as neededQualifications:5+ years of experience in an administrative support role, ideally supporting a manager or executive with broad responsibilitiesAssociate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferredHigh proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteAdvanced skills in Outlook and calendar managementExperience with Concur (expense management) preferredAbility to handle confidential information with integrityExceptional attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy and accountabilityStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyExcellent judgment, discretion, and a solution-oriented mindsetOutstanding written and verbal communication skills with professional etiquetteBG Staffing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
