Starting in a small guest house and seeing more & more special needs dogs that needed our help, we eventually moved into a 6,000 square foot facility in West Los Angeles where services include massage, acupuncture, hydrotherapy, ultrasound therapy, cold laser therapy, boarding, brace castings, cart fittings, harness fittings, and more. With a 501(c)(3) foundation Two Hands Four Paws also helps rescue and rehabilitate animals in need.Two Hands Four Paws is looking for a skilled, compassionate Kennel Attendant for overnights. The current open position is for 3-4 nights per week (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for sure). Shifts are generally 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM but we are flexible to adjust start/end times slightly for the right candidate. This position rate starts at $19.50 per hour.Must have previous experience working graveyard shifts and be committed to the responsibility and being proactive in caring for both animals and the facility.Must be a great team player with superb communication skillsMust have excellent patient care skills and be detail-oriented.Experience in a veterinary and/or boarding facility is highly desiredExperience providing medication and basic care to dogs & cats is requiredExperience handling disabled dogs is preferred but not required (willing to train the right candidate).Experience expressing bladders & bowels is a huge bonus! (willing to train)Must have a keen eye for details to maintain a safe and sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The bulk of this role is cleaning and organizing while pets are sleeping.Must love animals is an understatement.
