This position is a rare opportunity for you as a memory circuit professional to work with our successful circuit and layout team. You will discover a wide variety of groundbreaking foundries and deep submicron technologies while collaborating with our team on many different types of memories.\n\nThis job is for a memory designer for developing and validating best in class memories for Arm CPUs, GPUs and SOCs. You get a chance to take part in designing memories on advanced process technology nodes from various foundry offerings.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nIn this role you will be working on the following areas:\n\nUnderstanding memory architectures and memory development flows\nTransistor level full-custom design and collaboration with the physical design team for layout realization\nDeveloping new features, and optimizing and improving Arm memories to meet Performance, Power and Area targets in advanced technology (3 nm and beyond)!\nContribute in all parts of the memory development flow, starting at design specification, circuit design and perform design margining, physical verification, memory characterization, FE verification, release procedure, and QA flow for memory used in CPU, GPU and SoCs.\nBecome comfortable with use of AI to develop scripts to improve execution efficiency and quality\nEnsuring high-quality and high-performance memory designs with the lowest possible power as needed for Arm CPUs, GPUs, and SOCs!\nRequired Skills and Experience :\nMaster's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other relevant technical fields with emphasis in VLSI design or Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with relevant work experience\n2-5 years of circuit design experience (SRAM preferred)\nDemonstrate project experience in physical IP design (memories, standard cells, IOs, or PHYs)\nAn understanding of basic memory principles, especially for SRAM.\nA good understanding of technology trade-offs in deep sub-micron technologies\nExperience with Cadence Virtuoso or similar schematic and layout editing tools, and with Spice and FastSpice simulators\nYou love working in a collaborative setting\nYou enjoy innovation and continuous improvement\nYou appreciate methodology and efficiency improvements\n“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :\nHave designed on silicon technologies equal or smaller than 28nm\nHave some exposure to CMOS layout\nStatistical simulations (e.g. Monte-Carlo)\nFamiliar with basic coding with Perl, .tcl, java, UNIX\nFamiliarity with AI toolsAdditional Information\nSalary Range:\n$130,100-$176,000 per year\n\nWe value people as individuals and our dedication is to reward people competitively and equitably for the work they do and the skills and experience they bring to Arm.
