{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"7a8a6e5e86ec39527233c9df","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/7a8a6e5e86ec39527233c9df","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/7a8a6e5e86ec39527233c9df","title":"2nd shift Blend Operator","description":"General Purpose\n\nOperate continuous flow or vat-type equipment to process milk, cream, and other dairy products, following specified methods and formulas.\n\nJob Duties and Responsibilities\n\nReview all quality, food safety and product specifications\nMonitor blending equipment according to the specifications of components and blend amounts\nControl valves, pumps, speed, and temperatures in accordance with industry standards for blending\nAdhere to established testing procedures and provide required samples to the laboratory\nAssemble and disassemble equipment for proper cleaning/sanitizing and operating per manufacturer instructions\nObserve and test system operation, using gauges and instruments\nEngage in dismantling, assembling, and installing refrigeration equipment\nMaintain communication with other departments, supervisor, and employees and notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production\nEnsure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP's\nUtilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes\nReport any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately\nMaintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues\nFollow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements\nThe requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required.
