Job SummaryThe Field Marketing Associate with The Restaurant Store is responsible for communicating the advantages of shopping with TRS in a clean and concise manner across the local market area, while consistently portraying a positive representation of their local branch. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Ability to effectively communicate with TRS customer base, including but not limited to food service business operators and ownersAbility to navigate company software & technology to support customer needs and position requirementsAbility to plan efficient travel routes to meet with local business customers on recurring basisIncrease local branch sales by converting new prospects into active customers and re-engaging inactive and lapsed customers into regular purchasers with TRSCommunicate pertinent information to sales team at local branch through established communication methodsCommunicate customer buying trends and competitor information to local store by providing relevant competitor invoicesDevelop and maintain knowledge of available productsPhysical RequirementsWork is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.QualificationsExperienceMinimum of 1 year of relevant experience in retail and/or field marketing / salesExperience using MS Office Suite to maintain business-to-business relationshipsHigh school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experienceEducationThis role does not require a degree.
