Come join the team and see how you can make a lasting impact on the world.\r\nAs a Senior Software Engineer, you will help drive the automation, design, and operation of the Linux platform that powers the physical Linux client experience all the way up to our large scale AI agent compute platform. You will support Linux environments across physical systems, virtual machines, and public cloud infrastructure while improving their scalability, reliability, and security. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys automating infrastructure, solving challenging Linux problems, and building secure and reliable platforms for next-generation agentic services!\r\nWhat You Will Be Doing\r\nLeading Linux and cloud infrastructure initiatives, including architecture, provisioning, configuration, deployment, and ongoing operations.\r\nBuilding automation using shell scripting, configuration management, and infrastructure-as-code tools.\r\nDeveloping and maintaining automated workflows for Linux provisioning, patching, configuration, security hardening, and lifecycle management.\r\nDeploying and operating cloud infrastructure and integrating cloud services with on-premises environments.\r\nCollaborating with engineering teams across NVIDIA to deliver infrastructure capabilities that support meaningful business outcomes.\r\nContinuously improving the reliability, security, maintainability, and operational standards of our platform.\r\nWhat We Need To See\r\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field—or equivalent experience.\r\n8+ years of experience in Linux systems, infrastructure, platform, site reliability, or cloud engineering.\r\nDeep hands-on experience administering, securing, and optimizing Linux environments.\r\nProven cloud architecture and engineering experience in AWS or Azure.\r\nStrong shell scripting and automation skills, including a configuration management platform such as Chef or Ansible.\r\nExperience using Terraform to provision infrastructure.\r\nExperience with AI-native development and coding agents to multiply developer productivity.\r\nStrong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.\r\nWays To Stand Out From The Crowd\r\nExpertise in Go or Python\r\nExperience using GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions to automate deployments.\r\nExperience designing and operating hybrid-cloud or multi-cloud Linux environments.\r\nExperience with container runtimes, Kubernetes, immutable infrastructure, or automated operating-system image pipelines.\r\nExcited to contribute to a high-trust, collaborative culture while bringing a unique perspective to the team!\r\nNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world's most desirable employers.
