This role will require interfacing with various stakeholders to maintain a smooth workflow and timely project completion. The primary duties include:Safety Management: Oversee contractor safety in accordance with OSHA regulations and client standards. This responsibility will be shared with the Safety Manager (SM) for projects with dedicated safety oversight.Project Coordination: Direct and coordinate contractors to ensure efficient project progress. Maintain a thorough understanding of the project schedule, job progress, and percent completion.Design Knowledge: Attain in-depth knowledge of design intent, process flows, and equipment functions relevant to the project scope.Contract Management: Handle contract communications, manage change orders, and ensure that all contract documentation is properly maintained and recorded.Progress Meetings: Conduct and participate in weekly construction progress meetings, issue meeting minutes, and clarify contractor RFIs as necessary.Quality Assurance: Observe contractor work to verify compliance with technical and quality standards, managing quality issues in coordination with the project team.Liaison with Client: Act as the main point of contact for the client site manager or designated representative. Coordinate construction activities with site operations, including permits, utility outages, and construction areas.Documentation: Maintain up-to-date project drawings, specifications, vendor/shop drawings, and other relevant documentation. Ensure that as-built drawings are complete and accurate.Cost Management: Monitor, verify, and control project costs, particularly when work is conducted on a Time and Materials (T&M) basis.Team Coordination: Manage and oversee other field team members, such as the Safety Manager, Field Coordinators, and Materials Manager. Ensure proper documentation of their responsibilities, time, and expenses.Reporting: Prepare weekly construction reports and other documentation as required.
