Candidate will join a team of financial management and accounting specialists that provide financial analysis and management support for a large federal agency. Candidate will be responsible for supporting financial management transaction processing, providing quality and timely financial analysis and reporting, performing financial reconciliations and account maintenance, and reviewing accounting documents for accuracy and completeness for successful processing.\n\nThis position is located in Washington, DC.\n\nYour future duties and responsibilities\nThe individual will be involved in a variety of financial management, audit, and financial reporting tasks to meet the client objectives. This may include:\n\nProcess agency invoices and travel vouchers, and reconcile payments for government agency.\n\nAssist with tracking and monitoring payments, payment cancellations, undisbursed payments and check re-issuances.\n\nAssist with providing support to access agency and other federal government financial information systems for accounting, billing, and investment support purposes.\n\nAssist with reviewing financial and accounting data to ensure compliance, support the annual audit and, prepare supporting documentation in federal ERP system and create ad-hoc reports as required.\n\nAssist with reviewing tax accounting transactions and support the entry of those transactions in the financial system.\n\nAssist in the preparation of financial and operational analyses to assist federal agency in the management of financial reports.\n\nRecord and reconcile payments made by other agencies as part of the outgoing orders process for traditional TBO, Intra-governmental Payment and Collections (IPAC) and Interfund payment types.\n\nRequired qualifications to be successful in this role\n\nFinancial Management Analyst with federal financial management experience that shall have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or in a related field.\n\n3 to 5 years of relevant experience in performing financial, payroll, and/or accounting functions.\n\nDemonstrated experience in financial analysis, financial management, and financial reporting support at a large federal agency.\n\nDemonstrated experience using federal ERP systems (CGI Momentum strongly preferred).\n\nComfortable presenting to client stakeholders.\n\nSolid analytic thinking skills.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include Access, Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams or similar workplace chat and videoconferencing tools.\n\nDesired qualifications/non-essential skills required\n\nPrior experience with Momentum.\n\nKnowledge of SQL.\n\nCompensation Range\nCGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
