Working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Project Engineers, subcontractors, vendors, clients, architects, and engineers, you will help coordinate project activities and ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements.\nThe ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent organizational skills, and a willingness to take ownership and grow into increased project responsibility. You will support project administration, subcontractor and vendor coordination, scheduling, cost control, change management, RFIs, submittals, billing, and closeout activities. As your skills and experience develop, you will have the opportunity to take increasing ownership of project activities and independently manage smaller projects with senior PMs providing guidance and support.\nKey Responsibilities:\nYou will support Project Managers in the planning, coordination, and execution of assigned construction projects, with the opportunity to independently manage smaller projects as experience develops.\nYou will coordinate and distribute current contract documents, including drawings, specifications, general conditions, alternates, addenda, ASIs, and other project revisions.\nYou will manage RFIs, submittals, transmittals, Potential Change Orders, Change Orders, and other project deliverables, ensuring accurate tracking, timely submission, and distribution.\nYou will assist with project budgets, schedules of values, cost tracking, change requests, progress billing, and required supporting documentation, including labor compliance.\nYou will process and maintain subcontractor and owner commitment documents, including contracts, Subcontract Agreements, Purchase Orders, Work Orders, and Change Orders in Procore.\nYou will support project scheduling, phasing, and sequencing and monitor project performance to help maintain quality, schedule, budget, and safety objectives.\nYou will prepare meeting minutes, project correspondence, and routine responses, and communicate project updates and changes with Owners, Architects, Engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.\nYou will assist with contract interpretation, conflict resolution, claims avoidance, and resolution of project issues, escalating matters to the Project Manager when appropriate.\nYou will coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and suppliers to obtain proposals, contracts, insurance, invoices, and other required documentation.\nYou will conduct regular site visits and support oversight of self-performed and subcontracted work, including daily reporting and monitoring progress, quality, and safety.\nYou will maintain accurate project files, directories, records, certifications, Procore requirements, as-built drawings, and other project documentation, incorporating approved RFIs, ASIs, and formal changes.\nYou will coordinate project closeout, including punch list completion and collection of as-builts, warranties, O&M manuals, project manuals, and other required documentation.\n\nRequirements\n\nProfessional Skills:\nBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, or a related field preferred.\n3+ years of experience in commercial construction, preferably in a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or similar role.\nWorking knowledge of construction processes, plans, specifications, drawings, and technical documentation.\nUnderstanding of construction means and methods across multiple trades.\nExperience with construction or project management software; Procore experience preferred.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, and Google Workspace.\nFamiliarity with construction scheduling and CPM scheduling concepts.\nWorking knowledge of project cost control, change management, billing, and contract administration.\nKnowledge of quality, health, and safety standards.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.\nPMP, CMIT, or other relevant construction or project management certification is a plus.\nPersonal Strengths:\nYou take ownership and follow through on commitments.\nYou are team-oriented and willing to learn and take initiative.\nYou are proactive, organized, and detail-oriented.\nYou maintain a positive, solution-focused mindset and work effectively under pressure.\nYou build strong professional relationships and communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.\nYou demonstrate sound judgment and know when to seek guidance or escalate an issue.\nYou are committed to safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.\nPhysical Requirements:\nPerformance of the required duties will require the following:\nPhysical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, ability to climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction.\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus\nPerforming this job requires use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, sit, talk, hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl\nThe employee regularly works on-site at the construction work site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts;
