You will work as part of a team with other contractors, government civilians, and military personnel in a fast-paced, innovative environment.\r\nJOB DUTIES\r\nLead end-to-end software development across all SDLC phases, including requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, refinement, debugging, and updates.\r\nTranslate complex user and mission/business needs into scalable system architectures, detailed requirements, and actionable technical plans.\r\nProduce and review advanced design artifacts (models, diagrams, workflows) to guide development and ensure technical alignment across teams.\r\nDevelop high-quality, maintainable, and secure software solutions within a multidisciplinary environment supporting mission-critical intelligence operations.\r\nBuild and maintain big-data ETL pipelines (Hadoop, Apache Airflow) and automate data ingestion from APIs and databases using Python and SQL.\r\nExecute DevOps processes for application and database deployment using Docker, Kubernetes, and GitLab CI/CD.\r\nAutomate retrieval of data from various sources via API and direct database queries for intelligence analysts and data scientists using SQL and Python.\r\nUtilize industry-standard tools (GitLab, Jira, Confluence) for version control, workflow management, documentation, and traceability.\r\nEngage directly with customers and mission partners to gather requirements, provide product feedback loops, and deliver capability briefings for military stakeholders.\r\nProvide senior-level technical guidance to ensure optimal documentation, maintainability, and sustainability of software systems.\r\nMentor and coach junior developers; may serve as team or task lead; perform additional duties as needed.\r\nREQUIRED SKILLS\r\nExperience developing customer driven applications for data collection and analysis.\r\nBackend/DevOps Knowledge Areas: Python, Docker, Helm/Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, or relational databases.\r\nDatabase: Postgres, SQL.\r\nGeneral: GitLab CI/CD, REST APIs.\r\nDESIRED SKILLS\r\nBackend/DevOps Knowledge Areas: Golang, Go, Node/NestJS, Java/Spring Boot, Kotlin, TypeORM, GORM.\r\nFrontend Knowledge Areas: React JS, Node JS, NestJS, Typescript.\r\nDatabase: Elasticsearch, MongoDB.\r\nGeneral: Linux, K8s, Git, WebSocket, Redis, Keycloak, S3/Minio, Puppeteer.\r\nWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED\r\nClearance: Current Do W Secret clearance required; active Top Secret with SCI eligibility desired.\r\nExperience: 8 years of related experience.\r\nEducation: Technical training or degree.\r\nCertifications: None.\r\nRole requirements: Fayetteville, NC (Hybrid) or remote (with travel to customer site up to 1x per month).\r\nDue to US Government Contract Requirements, only US Citizens are eligible for this role.\r\nGDIT IS YOUR PLACE.
