Cross-Platform Mobile Application Developer

Status: Full TimeLocation: National Capital Reg, PasigJob OverviewWe are looking for a well-rounded and experienced software and application developer. This position requires experience implementing Mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms as well as additional experience in front-end web development. You will be joining our team to build, update and maintain high quality systems, specializing in corporate and business applications with emphasis on usability and great mobile user experience.Position ResponsibilitiesDesign and build Native and Hybrid applications for iOS and Android platformsAssist web development team in designing and building web applicationsParticipate in the full application lifecycle (requirements, design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance)Work with product and design teams to understand end-user requirements and use case scenariosEngage in requirements elaboration and analysis, suggest solutions and contribute innovative and original ideasProduce fully functional mobile and web applicationsWrite clean, optimized and readable code with eye for component re-usabilityIntegrate with RESTful backend servicesTroubleshoot existing applications and fix bugsResearch and suggest new mobile products, applications and protocols and stay up-to-date with latest technologiesSuccessfully deliver results within a scheduleEducation, Experience & QualificationsBSc degree or Higher, in Computer Science or Information SystemsMinimum of 5 years as a web application developer with 3+ years of experience in mobile application development, especially in cross-platform framework like Xamarin and Apache CordovaDemonstrable portfolio of iOS, Android and web applicationsIn-depth knowledge of at least one programming language: Visual C#, JavaIn-depth knowledge of cross-platform development in Apache Cordova or XamarinExperience with third-party libraries and APIsFamiliarity with Object Oriented design principlesDevelopment Skills:Cross-Platform Frameworks: Apache Cordova and/or Xamarin (Visual C#)Web Development: HTML5, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, jQuery, Node.jsVersion control and code management: Git, GulpPersonal SkillsSelf-motivated, independent with a passion for software development.Excellent analytical skills with a creative problem-solving attitude.Ability to perform in a team environment.Excellent English communication skills in all four areas* (Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing).
