Forwarder IMPORT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST (English/Chinese)

Job Overview The import Operations Specialist is responsible for managing day to day operations, communications and processes related to air and ocean shipments, customs brokerage, and domestic cargo. Responsibilities and Duties 1.Open operation files for import and export shipments. 2.Resolve day to day communication between overseas, local partners and service providers. Monitor air and ocean import/export shipments as well as domestic cargo and brokerage. 3.Ensure accurate customer billing and agent invoicing. 4.Handle quotation requests from operational partners and agents and respond within a timely manner and depending on regional responsibility. 5.Work with our overseas offices resolving day-to-day issues. 6. RNG and oversize cargo will be a good plus for this job. Qualifications 2-3 years of proven industry experience. Bachelor’s degree in supply management or Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Organized and detail oriented. Excellent communication skills. Experience in both ocean import and export Bilingual English/Chinese will be a plus not a must Preferred Qualifications Experience with gofreight and quickbook software would be an advantage Experience with Microsoft Office 365 tools Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $39,179.00 - $60,000.00 per year Benefits: Flexible schedule Health insurance Professional development assistance Compensation package: Commission pay Schedule: 8 hour shift Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: gofreight: 2 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
