Job Title: Technical WriterPosition SummaryThe Technical Writer is responsible for developing, writing, and maintaining high-quality technical documentation that supports products throughout their full lifecycle. This role produces clear, accurate, and compliant documentation for both print and electronic formats and works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure technical accuracy and usability.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, write, edit, and maintain technical documentation, including:Operation manualsService manualsKit instructionsTechnical bulletinsEnsure documentation meets established quality, formatting, and compliance standardsCollaborate cross-functionally with:EngineeringServiceManufacturingMarketingTranslate complex technical information into clear, user-friendly contentSupport documentation updates throughout product development and lifecycle changesQualificationsCandidates must meet one of the following requirements:Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of technical writing experience, or8+ years of relevant professional experience, orAn equivalent combination of education and professional experiencePreferred Experience & SkillsExperience supporting industrial or technical productsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teamsWork Environment & OpportunitiesWork on globally recognized industrial equipment productsCollaborate directly with engineering and manufacturing teamsContribute to documentation that supports critical product operations and serviceJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Hagerstown, MD.Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $31.25 - $49.52/hr.RequirementsEligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
