The EMS staff will work with the medical team to provide care to patients who are experiencing medical emergencies. This position is responsible for providing primary care to patients of all ages in a non-hospital setting. This is a non-transporting ALS unit. This position provides coverage for shifts starting at 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am seven days a week.\nQualifications:\nCurrent state of Michigan licensed EMT\nCurrent high school diploma or equivalent required\nCurrent CPR certification required\nPEARS, PHTLS, and Licensed by Genesee County Medical Control\nMust be at least 18 years of age or older\nValid driver’s license and clean driving record\nAbility to pass background check and drug screening\nExcellent communication skills, writing skills, attention to detail skills, and ability to multi-task and manage multiple situations effectively.\nEssential Duties:\nProvide primary care for all patients. Provide preventative care such as checking vital signs, administering medications, or injections.\nAssist with monitoring vital signs of the patient during their treatment.
