Project Estimator – Fire & Contents RestorationServiceMaster Restore – ServiceMaster 1st Choice📍 Western Washington | Full-TimeServiceMaster 1st Choice is growing, and we are looking for an experienced, motivated, and customer-focused Project Estimator – Fire & Contents Restoration to join our team.This role is ideal for someone who understands the restoration industry, thrives in fast-paced environments, and can confidently manage fire, smoke, soot, and contents losses from initial inspection through estimate approval and project coordination.If you have experience working with insurance claims, restoration estimating platforms, and customers during difficult situations, we want to hear from you.What You’ll DoFire & Contents Loss AssessmentInspect residential and commercial fire/smoke lossesAssess structural and contents damageDetermine restoration scope, cleaning methods, pack-out needs, and deodorization requirementsDocument losses with photos, sketches, measurements, and notesEstimating & Insurance CoordinationBuild detailed estimates using XactimateUtilize Symbility when required by insurance carriersWrite supplements and scope revisions as projects evolveCommunicate directly with adjusters to support timely approvalsMaintain accurate job documentation and organized project filesContents ManagementCoordinate pack-outs, inventory, storage, and contents restorationUtilize Contents Track for inventory management and documentationUse DocuSketch for floor plans, measurements, and estimating supportCustomer CommunicationGuide customers through the restoration process with professionalism and empathyMaintain proactive communication with homeowners, property managers, adjusters, and internal teamsHelp create a smooth and positive customer experience during stressful situationsProject CoordinationWork closely with project managers, field technicians, and office staffEnsure scopes align with field conditions and production needsSupport efficient job progression and change management throughout the project lifecycleWhat We’re Looking ForExperience2+ years in restoration estimating, insurance adjusting, or construction estimatingFire, smoke, soot, and contents restoration experience strongly preferredExperience working with insurance carriers and claims processesTechnical SkillsProficiency in Xactimate (required)Experience with Symbility preferredExperience using Contents Track, Encircle, or similar contents inventory platformsFamiliarity with DocuSketch preferredStrong organizational, documentation, and communication skillsCertifications PreferredIICRC Certifications:FSRTOCTCPTXactimate Level 1 or higherWhy Join ServiceMaster 1st Choice?At ServiceMaster 1st Choice, we believe our people are the foundation of our success.
