As we grow, we’re looking for a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join our close-knit team.The Role: As a Payroll Specialist, you’ll be the go-to expert for processing payrolls, managing client accounts, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. You’ll work closely with small businesses, helping them run smoothly while building strong, professional relationships.Key Responsibilities:·        Process weekly, biweekly, and monthly payrolls accurately and on time·        Manage multi-state payrolls and ensure tax compliance (federal, state, local)·        Maintain client records and respond to payroll-related inquiries·        Handle garnishments, deductions, and benefit contributions·        Assist with quarterly and year-end reporting (W-2s, 941s, etc.)·        Collaborate with our team to improve processes and client satisfactionWho You Are:·        2+ years of payroll processing experience (preferably in a service bureau or multi-client environment)·        Familiar with payroll software and QuickBooks.·        Strong understanding of payroll laws and tax filings (New England state knowledge a plus!)·        Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills·        Comfortable communicating with clients and solving payroll issues   A team player who enjoys working in a small business environment
