Independently performs complex and standard machine setups involving loading NC programs, aligning panels to a vacuum table, visually inspecting the panels, and making the required adjustments. An NC laser drill operator will perform all the necessary tasks to keep multiple machines at or near capacity output levels.\n\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must have a minimum of 3 years experience in the printed circuit industry and must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.\n\nGeneral:\nUnderstanding of industry standards and appropriate application.\nMust be able to cooperate and communicate effectively with management and supervisory staff.\nAbility to effectively follow company systems and procedures.\nMust be able to read/interpret drawings and use simple/basic math\nMust be able to read and understand blueprints\nMust be able to read and understand handheld measuring devices\nResponsibilities:\nTo operate all Drilling equipment with little or no supervision.\nTo make set-up decisions which conform to customer specification.\nTo evaluate and discontinue processing of non-conforming product.\nTo observe Production Control scheduling.\nTo maximize productivity.\nTo work scheduled overtime as needed.\nTo complete cross training in all other N/C processes.\nPlan sequence of operations and review blueprints to ensure precision\nEstablish proper stop location, adjust laser beam focal point\nMake proper setups for cutting operations\nSet up, maintain and operate laser\nPay attention to machine at all times to ensure it is working properly\nAccurately project completion of work orders at work center\nPerform prescribed maintenance as required\nComplete assignments on-time and correctly\nContinually maintain a clean working environment\nDetect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor\nAuthorities:\nTo alert QC when product does not conform to customer specification.\nTo make documented drill size substitutions as required.\nTo be instrumental in the training of new personnel.\nITAR Compliance Notice\nThis position requires compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
