This job requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as expertise in digital signal processing techniques and tools. The engineer will follow the evolution of advanced communication threats, stay abreast of the trends and planning of advanced communication standards, and provide support and analysis on the near term and future trends. Conduct research and provide analysis on the evolution of advanced communication threats. This includes support for technique improvement, technique development, technique integration, and support for lab and field-testing.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign and develop signal processing algorithms for wireless communication applications.\nCollaborate with hardware and software engineers to integrate DSP software into overall system architecture.\nConduct performance analysis and optimization of DSP algorithms to ensure efficient operation in real-world environments.\nImplement and test DSP algorithms on target hardware platforms.\nParticipate in code review and provide technical assistance to other team members.\nStay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of DSP\nDesired Skills:\nBachelor's, Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.\nExpertise in signal processing theory, algorithms, and implementation techniques.\nProficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Matlab, and Python.\nExperience with DSP hardware and software development tools such as DSP processors, development kits, and IDEs.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\nAbility to work independently and in a team environment.\nMust be comfortable developing and presenting briefings\nDesired Experience:\nThree or more years of experience with modeling systems or tools.\nHands-on laboratory/field experience.\nExperience developing or integrating physics-based models in simulation frameworks.\nExperience with wireless communication protocols and Electronic Warfare exploitation.\nExperience with radar or EW signal generation techniques and performance analysis tools and models (MATLAB or Python).\nUnderstanding of EW impacts on radar hardware and electronic Protection (EP) algorithms.\nDetailed design or hands on hardware test experience.\nDigital implementation work on FPGAs (or equivalent)\nAdditional Desired Experience:\nEnhancing skills in applying machine learning techniques to signal processing tasks.\nUnderstanding how artificial intelligence can enhance signal processing capabilities.\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
