Job DutiesBeacon Hill was founded to set a new standard in search, career placement and flexible staffing.Litigation Legal AssistantOverviewA well-established law firm in Minneapolis seeks a Litigation Legal Assistant to support attorneys and legal professionals in a litigation practice area. Offering a hybrid schedule, 35 hour work week, competitive benefits and salary! This role requires strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to problem solve independently and in a team environment.Skills required and Job Duties include the following:Job Duties:Prepares and files legal documents such as letters, pleadings, discovery, correspondence and more.Handle client intake and process incoming mail/files/letters.Prepare for trial and electronically file in state and federal courts.Manages attorneys calendars, deadlines, and meetings.Coordinate travel and appointments.Communicates professionally with attorneys, clients, and staff.Provide support to attorneys in civil litigation.Additional duties include other administrative and support tasks, as assigned.Qualifications:Minimum of 2+ years of experience in legal administrative roles, civil litigation preferred.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to multitask and complete tasks in a timely manner.Knowledge in computer and software programs including, Microsoft Office Suite, iManage, and Adobe.High school diploma required.Bachelor's degree preferred.Salaries are competitive and based on experience!
