We are seeking a candidate who are flexible and could work any of these shift options, as production needs do change from time to time:\nAvailable Shift:\nMonday - Friday - 9 PM - 5 AM + $3.00 shift premium\nMonday - Wednesday (every other Thursday) 5 AM - 5 PM\nThis position is responsible for the setup and operation of Press equipment to customer-supplied specifications while maintaining production by planning and organizing jobs and continuously monitoring quality. Additionally, operators are responsible for the cleanliness and keeping the press maintained mechanically. Some positions will have direct reports.\nJob duties include, but are not limited to:\nSafely maintaining the press.\nPerforming regular maintenance and upkeep of the press.\nChecking for proper ink, and paper and maintaining proper levels of supplies around the press.\nAssisting in register and sheet rule-up.\nAdhering to and following the plant processes and plant standard operating procedures.\nSuccessful candidates must have the following:\nMust have 2 years of Second press operator experience.\nExperience with Heidelberg 105 or 106 with coater preferred, but other makes will also be considered!\nMust have some perfecting experience.\nMust have some understanding of color.\nA strong mechanical aptitude is required.\nMust have eye/hand coordination when inside the unit while making adjustments.\nMust have the ability to utilize the computer to ensure the quality of the product.\nAbility to lift 10-15 pounds continuously, ability to lift to 70 pounds occasionally, stand long hours (8-hour shift), use hands and wrists continuously in controlled movement, receive and follow instructions, and use vision to identify defects.\nAbility to work 8-hour shifts, with overtime and holidays as required (OT paid over 40 hours per week).\nThe ability to pass a color test is required.\nMust also be able to work with and effectively communicate with clients at Press OKs.\nWe're looking for dependable people who want more than just a job.
