As an Environmental Systems Engineer at CATK, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO) systems and other environmental control technologies within our facilities. You will play a critical role in installation, commissioning, maintenance, and performance monitoring of these systems. Your expertise will drive improvements in operational efficiency, environmental compliance, and energy savings.\nEssential Functions Responsible for Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer systems (RTO) for facility applications, including installation, commissioning, and regular maintenance.\nMonitor system performance, conduct troubleshooting, and perform repairs as needed to maintain operational efficiency.\nDevelop and enforce policies to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.\nAnalyze quality data, identify trends, and generate reports to drive improvements in system performance and efficiency.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality assurance and operational efficiency.\nEvaluate and implement energy-saving measures to optimize system performance and reduce operational costs.\nDevelop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for RTO systems and quality assurance for HVAC equipment.\nMinimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.\nMinimum of 3 years of experience working with Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO) systems in an industrial or manufacturing environment.\nStrong knowledge of air pollution control technologies and regulatory requirements.\nProficiency in quality assurance principles, tools, software, methodologies, and data analysis.\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross- functional teams.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work on schedule.\nAbility to maintain a full-time work schedule with regular in-person attendance is required for this position.\nAbility to interact professionally with individuals of varied backgrounds and skill level.\nPhysical Requirements Ability to move around work sites, which may include walking, standing, and climbing ladders or stairs.\nFlexibility to bend, kneel, or crouch, particularly when inspecting installations or troubleshooting.\nCapability to lift and carry moderate weights, typically up to 25-50 pounds.\nOccasional lifting of heavier items may be required.\nAbility to work in various environments, including offices, construction sites, and manufacturing facilities.\nWillingness and ability to travel to various job sites, which may require driving or other forms of transportation.\nBenefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience.\nComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage.\n401(k) retirement savings plan with company match.\nPaid time off and holidays.\nProfessional development opportunities.\n***CATK is an Equal Opportunity Employer***\nThe information contained herein is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of the duties and responsibilities of the job, nor is it intended to be an all-inclusive list of the skills and abilities required to do the job.
