This position will include technical and management oversight of contract activities on the program. The project engineer will work closely with program management and customer counterparts to define the system requirements, develop program plans, develop proposals, execute of development and test activities, complete airworthiness certification, set up customer site(s), and support initial sustainment.\n\nDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nManage technical execution phases of MQ-9B program from proposal through delivery of the UAS to the Customer.\nRepresents the organization as a technical contact for the program including frequent interface with senior members of the Customer and GA-ASI organizations.\nFormulates plans and guides the development and implementation of engineering solution(s) including resource requirements, integration, configuration, testing, documentation, and export compliance.\nMust manage functional groups to meet program objectives, while monitoring budget and schedule constraints.\nAdvises or directs the activities of assigned project(s)/program(s) to achieve technical objectives.\nResponsible to coordinate with sub-contractors and vendors to achieve successful integration, test, and delivery of UAS to Customer.\nProvides leadership for a project/program and provide direction and guidance to less experienced professional staff or team of professional staff.\nContribute to the development of new business opportunities and expansion of existing business opportunities through Customer engagement and responses to Customer inquiries.\nManage the development of and ensure the security of proprietary technology and maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.\nPromote teamwork and coordination between various functional groups and business units.\nTravel up to 25% is required to support customer meetings which will occur both in the US and OCONUS.\nPlan for future applications of solutions based on IRAD activity and new developments in engineering technology.\nMaintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.\nEnsures compliance, reporting, and safety standards are maintained.\nResponsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
