Parts Fabricator OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturer in New York Mills, MN. We are seeking candidates for Parts Fabricator roles on the 1st shift. Compensation for these direct-hire opportunities ranges between $17.50-$19.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Interested? Read below for more information!What You Will Do As A Parts Fabricator:Operate CNC press brake machine to bend parts according to specificationsSet up, operate, and/or tend press brake to bend aluminum materialStart machines, monitor their operations, and record operational dataLoad, install, and correctly set up the tooling requiredExamine completed work pieces for defectsParticipate in equipment preventative maintenance at the operator levelResponsible for compliance to safety policies and procedures, as well as identifying risks and hazards prior to job completionWork with team and other departments to ensure quality products and follow documented work instructionsWhat You Need To Be A Parts Fabricator:Basic knowledge and understanding of fabrication and hydraulic press operationsAbility to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aidsKnowledge of basic dimensional measuring and ability to quickly learn the use of precision measurement toolsMust be a self-starter and team player with good safety awarenessAbility to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodationsAbility to sit, squat, and bend in various awkward positions for certain lengths of timeClick APPLY NOW to complete our mobile-friendly, online application.
